Anime Boston

Tue May 19, 2009, 8:35 AM
  • Mood: Pleased
  • Listening to: "Smash Lies" - Matisyahu
  • Eating: Cream Danish
  • Drinking: Coffee
SO Anime Boston is coming up this weekend. Will be my first year there.
Who here is going? I'm not TOO sure what to expect, but I'm assuming it'll be more extreme than ConnectiCon.

So I'm going to be going up there Thursday night, but the the thing is, I have NO clue where I'm staying, if I'm even staying anywhere. I may end up just camping in my car like a bum; probably with my pal Nick, who you may have seen at ConnectiCon OR on Fox news when he dry-humped the news anchor while dressed as Hard Gay. I'll probably document the whole adventure like I always do.

For those who are going, are you cosplaying, or dressing special? If I see you there, I'll be tracking down zombies to type at.

That's all I have to say for now. Later!

Hey Alex do you know any way to rip a vocal track out of a song from an mp3 file? Or is it not possible? I'm talking as in using it for sampling-ish stuff kinda.

As in, I have a song that's a tribute to a band, and there's a line from one of their songs in it, but the chances of the singer ever agreeing to just record it for me are slim to none hahaha

There are some plug-ins that'll augment the vocals, but in turn make everything else really messy. There's no good way of doing it. Google "acapella+(whatever song)" and see if anything comes up. Jamglue.com sometimes has fan-made vocal rips.

Mmkay, thanks Alex

While we're on the note of vocal shtuff, do you know what programs/anything give voice tracks that electronic sound that you hear in techno/dance stuff a lot? like Daft Punk and stuff
